Hamdi F.B born 5th of March 1983. Dancing since the age of 11 years old. Started dancing for a hobby. He first lay his eyes on hip-hop when he was in Sydney, Australia. Came back to Jakarta on 1992 and join his uncle as a kid rapper and also dancer for showbiz on tv. At the year 1997 he started seriously learning about breakdancing also popping and locking until now. He and his friends formed a crew called “ Jakarta Breakin “ which is quite famous in Indonesia. Today he is running a break dance community (www.bboyindo.com) which he found in the year 2003 by him and also he is judging for a dance tv show for 4 years already plus 1 season of Global TV we dance. His daily work is teaching hip-hop ( breakdancing, popping, locking ) and doing workshop to all over Indonesia. Hamdi still wants to learn more about hip-hop and other sort of genre dances that came from the urban culture such as house dancing, jazz etc
to pass the culture knowledge to others in Indonesia.
Building the Dance creative industry is one of his visions. Collaborating technology such as motion graphic , laser lighting treatment and also making crazy publicity stunts with his company “Fabas Art” is what he is trusted to be the best now.
Hamdi has a big influence in the youth dance society in Indonesia. He and his friends has formed many great activity for the youngsters all over the big cities such as Medan, Palembang, Pekan Baru, Lampung, Banjarmasin, Pontianak, Makasar, Ambon, Bali,
Surabaya, Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Malang, Purwokerto, Bandung, Jabodetabek and many other regions of Indonesia. As a dance Icon hamdi still wants to give more in social to the youth spirit of Indonesia.
